"Instead, I politely asked him if he would at least say a prayer or bless Joshua or something! I so wanted and needed a religious rite performed for my son. The priest reluctantly moved so he was standing over Joshua and began to whisper something we couldn’t hear, but it was clear that he didn’t want to be doing that. It was only a few seconds long. Stephen immediately hurried the priest out of the room and I just cried and held my son telling him that I didn’t reject him even though my church did."
