"All I spoke in response to the entire discussion of the bereavement photographs was a simple “OK” with a shrug of my shoulders. Now, I shudder to think how worse Stephen’s and my life would be if I had said no. Or, how worse our lives would be if we didn’t have the hospital staff to think for us and to tell us that bereavement photography of stillborn babies exists and that we should have it done."
